Every quarter we have a whole day dedicated to prayer, this quarter it was on January 30th. Each day looks different and this year much of the time was spent in the city. In the morning we prayed for the ministries of YWAM Lausanne, and pulled out flags from countries where we would love to see more students come from or go and serve in. In the afternoon we split into focus groups for different areas of society (government, arts, family, business, etc) and prayed for each of those areas. The highlight was going to the top of the Lausanne cathedral, looking out over the city and praying. After praying over the city we also gathered in a side room of the cathedral and sang worship songs as a community, a beautiful sound of almost over fifty voices echoing off the 700+ year old stone walls.
